Start Skydiving Refund Policies

Tandem Refunds

- With more than 24 hours notice, you can change your appointment or cancel. Within 24 hours of your jump, $50.00 of your payment is nonrefundable.

- Persons that attend our Tandem Group School and decide not to skydive prior to boarding aircraft will receive a full refund minus $50.00.

- Once on the airplane, no refunds or transfers are available.

- No refunds on Rain Checks, but they are transferable minus a $50.00 transfer fee.

- No refunds or transfers on $99 tandem (second tandem purchased the day your first jump is made).

- Gift certificates are transferable, but nonrefundable.

Accelerated Free Fall Training (AFF) Refunds

- Once on the airplane, no refund or transfers are available.

- Accelerated Free Fall Training Program Prepaid Package ($1,525 complete package) is not refundable, it is transferable.

- Get your skydiving License in a Week Prepaid Package ($2,007 complete package) is not refundable, it is transferable.

Experienced Jumper Refunds

- We allow all jumpers to maintain an account at Start Skydiving. Gear, repacks, accessories etc. may be permitted to be charged against your account. Credit card transactions are the same as cash we do not charge a fee.  Accounts must be kept in the black to be able to jump.  

- Money paid ahead on account is non-refundable and may be applied only to jumps from our aircraft.

- Money on account may not be transferred to another person's account without permission from the management.

- Refunds to licensed jumpers are not available for most skydiving related purchases. Any consideration for refunds will be handled on a case by case basis. The management reserves the right to make the sole and final decision in these cases.  

- Any funds left inactive on account for over 1 year will be considered abandoned and forfeited. There are no refunds of any type available after 30 days.  

- If bulk tickets are purchased they must be used in the year of purchase, remaining tickets may not be carried over to the next year. 

- Boogie tickets are non-refundable. 

- If you have money on your account and are paying our standard ticket rate the funds will be refunded upon request.

- It is the individual jumpers’ responsibility to monitor his or her account. You are encouraged to check your account daily. At the closing of each business day, the computer is considered to be correct, and discrepancies will not be considered at a later date.
