At Start Skydiving, we place our customers first in everything we do. This newsletter is meant to keep you informed about the latest events and occurrences at our Professional Skydiving Center. Please take the time to email or call us with any comments that will improve the services we provide at Start.

What's Up This Week
|
Week ending 31 October 2009
From now until Safety Day, in March, we will be operating on Fall/Winter hours. Scheduled hours are Friday, noon to sunset; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am until sunset. If the weather is good and we have interest, we will open up on weekdays. The hangar will be heated, and the Caravan will be flying all winter, so throw on some gloves and come on out and jump!
The forecast is looking great for the upcoming Sunday: sunny with highs in the mid 50's. A day of perfect fall jumping!
The Halloween Party is Saturday night. A Kegerator of beer is being provided by the DZ. Costumes are strongly encouraged. Prizes will be given out for the most creative costumes. Things kick off at 6:30pm.

We've got some great upcoming dropzone events.
Fastrax Tunnel Camps - Niklas and John are coordinating tunnel camps for the months of November, December, January, February and March. If you are interested in attending a camp and taking your flying skills to the next level, contact Niklas Hemlin at nhemlin@teamfastrax.org to learn more.

Halloween Party - The DZ Halloween Party will be held October 31st beginning at 6:30pm. The DZ will be provide pizza as well as a keg of beer. (As always, feel free to bring an appetizer.) While costumes are not required, you can expect to be called a wimp and teased mercilessly if you don't at least try to come up with something. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative attempts; you'll also pretty much guarantee yourself airtime in the year-end video. See you Saturday.

Here is the scoop!
Got pics? Mike Ashley is hard at work creating a masterpiece for the year-end video; he is soliciting good video and stills to include. We really need freefly and ground shenanigans. Submissions should be in mini-DV format, and handed in by November 15th. Also, suggestions for music are always appreciated - if not always implemented. You can contact Mike at rwvidiot@woh.rr.com.
