We will be wheels up at 8:00am Saturday & Sunday so come out early and enjoy the day at Start.  

 

Both Caravans and the 206 will be flying.

 

On Saturday, October 3rd, we will be hosting the 'First-ever' Freefly Comp at Start Skydiving!  Freeflyers will meet at 9am in the main hangar for a briefing. 

FF Scrambles are for anyone who can present docks in a stable head-up or head-down orientation; however, flying head-down is not mandatory.  It will consist of 3 or more rounds. This is a FUN comp! You will be teamed with a different person on each jump (randomly picked) and each person carries their points to the end.

So far, we have received some great prizes from our sponsors J  Prizes include:  50% off a Neptune 3, 30% off any Skysystems helmet, UPT Vector discounts, free jump at Start and more......  You don't want to miss out! 

Brad, Melanie and a few other volunteers will be filming the jumps.  Each team will be asked to cover two video slots, therefore, each participant will be responsible for the cost of one video slot at $20.   The dropzone has kindly offered to cover the cost of the other videos.

Food:  Bab's will be cooking her tasty food at the Lost Cajun Café located on the DZ.  Open for breakfast, lunch and an early dinner. 

Lodging:  Bunk house beds are available for only $20.  Shower Room and Camping are free.  A few local hotels still have rooms available:  Howard Johnson's located off I75 still has rooms available for $59.99.  Knight's Inn located in Lebanon has rooms at $49.99 (not recommended by Brad)

At the end of the day, join us at BW3's in Lebanon to watch our vids on the bigscreen and celebrate the day.  We look forward to seeing everyone there.  Let's get this Freefly Party Started!!!

OSU Fall Class is this Sunday 04 October 2009
We have more than 50 OSU students coming out to jump with us this Sunday.  Come on out and lets show them a great time.  We will get out a staff newsletter with our staff needs Thursday.

We are excited to introduce our PC and mobile based sites for reviewing the manifested loads and calls.  Now you can easily look up information on the calls or check and see what slots are available online.  You can filter the information by name, aircraft or pilot.  Bookmark this address www.manifest.startskydiving.com  and start enjoying the convenience of this new feature.  

Each year Mike Ashley puts together an awesome video for us to watch at the Christmas Party.  We are putting out a challenge for the best video project of 2009. Start saving all the great footage, edit it and get it to Mike when he asks for it in the Fall.  We will then have a DZ vote and award a prize at the party.
